This is a own version of the game Battle Sheep. Instead of sheep I use different farm animals. One reason to do so is that colour lasering is no option and I wished to have more distiguished 'coins'. The picture shows some non coloured coins. It is desired to have more difference while gaming so I coloured them. I was even surprised that they got more colourful and contrastful than expected. Of course there also had to be a box in which all fitted well. Challenges: First finding all laser parameters. Then constructing a neat box for which I needed to construct about four versions. The final version looked good but was a little bit too small to get those coins in and out so I needed to modify it. (Thick fingers did not fit in). Part of my design problem where those separators inside the box. Finally I resolved that sufficiently. Last part was finding the right paint to use for the coins. It was a good learning curve to me.
Animal drawings got from internet and modified a bit.. Inkscape was my design tool for all of it. Machine used is the lasercutter of Fablab. Used material is 'multiplex' wood 3 mm. Wood glue to glue my box together of course. Paint used is an ink called Ecoline
