Cuba souvenirs
This mini project was intended to develop some low cost touristic souvenirs for Cuba. Local people could sell them to tourists to obtain a somewhat better life. It could let them gain $1 for each item sold while state salary is about $15 per MONTH! However it did not succeed because you need an official rather expensive permit to sell things to tourists. And at places where you can meet sufficient tourists there is always someone of the secret service watching. So no one dared sellings these items without permit. Finally I discontinued my project for that reason.
Materials: playwood 3 and 4 mm thick. Cuban 3 pesos coins with the image of Che Guevara. Software used is Inkscape. Equipment used is BNC laser cutter.
